The typhoon,packing maximum wind gusts of 120 kilometres an hour, uprooted trees,damaged traffic infrastructures and caused large track of blackout.
Millions of people will have to live with the poweroutage in at least two days, said a spokesperson of the PhilippineElectric Corporation.
According to the PhilippineMetrological Service, the typhoon will get stronger and head west intothe South China in the next 24-48 hours./.
