The Denmark – Vietnam Cultural Development Exchange Fund (CDEF) will subsidise over 100,000 USD to eight contemporary arts projects in Vietnam in December.
At a press conference in Hanoi on November 27, Danish Ambassador and Chairman of CDEF John Nielsen said that the projects cover dance, visual art, music and multimedia.
He also expressed his hope for more project registration of artists from all corners of the country, in addition to big cities such as Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, or Ho Chi Minh City.
Implemented from 2011 to 2015, CDEF has so far financed nearly 500,000 USD for some 70 contemporary arts projects in Vietnam.
