The Deputy PM said although bilateral tiesbetween Vietnam and the RoK have developed rapidly over recentyears, many cooperation opportunities remain, especially in investmentand trade.

He said the Vietnamese Government always createsfavourable conditions for the enterprises of both countries to cooperateand develop, thus contributing to socio-economic development in eachcountry.

Kim Seung Yeon told his host that more than 20 leadingRoK economic groups, including Hanhwa, Posco, Kumho Asiana, Lotte andCharmvit sought business opportunities in Vietnam on the occasion ofthe 13 th session of the Vietnam-RoK Economic Cooperation committee.

Theyspoke highly of the investment environment in Vietnam and expectedlong-term cooperation and business in the Southeast Asian nation, hesaid./.

Outstanding green credit reaches 828 trillion VND

To date, loans subject to environmental and social risk assessments have exceeded 5.1 quadrillion VND (some 193.6 billion USD), representing an almost 25-fold increase compared with the end of 2017 and accounting for 27.7% of total outstanding credit in the economy.
