The central coastal province of Quang Ngai will boost its economic development in the future with the help of Vietnam ’s diplomatic representative offices worldwide.
The announcement was made at a meeting between the Deputy Head of the Board of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Foreign Relations Pham Xuan Son and 28 representatives of the Vietnam diplomatic corps worldwide with local authorities during their working visit to Quang Ngai province on February 22.
At the meeting, the province’s leaders briefed the participants on the provincial socio-economic situation in the past year as well as its development plans for the coming years, especially the expansion of Dung Quat oil refinery.
They informed those present on the major projects that Quang Ngai province is calling for investment until 2020 and said they hoped that the diplomatic corps will provide further investment for Quang Ngai and Dung Quat oil refinery in particular.
In response, the participants committed themselves to helping Quang Ngai province develop and boost mutual cooperative relations for both the country and province’s future prosperity./.
