‘Doing business with Vietnam’ workshop held in New Zealand

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s Embassy in New Zealand on November 10 organised a workshop on doing business with Vietnam in the island country’s capital, Wellington.

At the event, an English book on guidelines for doing business with Vietnam was released.

Attendees included Nguyen The Thao, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, who was on a visit to New Zealand; the mayor of Wellington; and representatives from the New Zealand – ASEAN Business Council and the Wellington Employers' Chamber of Commerce.

Vietnam’s Ambassador to New Zealand Nguyen Viet Dung reviewed important achievements in the Vietnam – New Zealand relationship in all fields, especially economy and trade.

He also said he appreciated the result of activities implemented in 2015 in the two countries for the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, as well as exchanges of high-ranking delegations and cultural events, creating new motivation to boost cooperation in fields where the two sides have demand and advantages.

Ambassador Dung said the book titled “Guidelines on doing business with Vietnam”, will be a necessary handbook for New Zealand enterprises. They can learn about how to take advantage of opportunities and the growing bilateral relationship.-VNA
