The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Central Committee of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) elected members of the Political Bureau at its plenary session on Sept. 28.
According to the DPRK’s official news agency KCNA, the Presidium includes Kim Jong Il, Kim Yong Nam , Choe Yong Rim, Jo Myong Rok and Ri Yong Ho.
Other members are Kim Kyong Hui, Kim Yong Chun, Choe Thae Bok and Yang Hyong Sop.
Fifteen alternate members include Kim Yong Il and Jang Song Thaek.
The same day, the WPK Central Auditing Commission also held a plenary session and elected Kim Chang Su as Chairman and Pak Myong Sunas Vice Chairperson.
Also on Sept. 28, Kim Jong Il was elected as Chairman of the WPK Central Military Commission, while Kim Jong Un and Ri Yong Ho were elected as Vice Chairpersons of the commission./.
