The Toyota Vietnam Fund (TVF) and the Department of Primary Education under the Ministry of Education and Training have launched a drawing contest for primary pupils themed “Desired car”.
The third drawing contest began on January 6 within the framework of the programme “Toyota and I learn traffic” which has been implemented annually since the 2005-2006 school year, according to the Saigon Giai Phong daily's English edition.
With the message of “Draw the car of the future … Let your imagination ride far”, contest organisers wish to create a useful playground to educate primary pupils.
For the first round, there will be five first prizes, five second prizes, 20 third prizes and 70 encouragement prizes.
Nine most excellent drawings will be selected for Toyota’s 8th international contest in Japan.
In addition, winners will have an opportunity to make a sightseeing tour in Japan in August on the occasion of the prize giving ceremony.
In the 2012-2013 contest, among thousands of paintings from 70 countries and territories all over the world, those by Vietnamese children were in the top 30.-VNA
