Cairo (VNA) - The Al-Messa Daily newspaper of Egypt has praised the prospect of cooperation between Vietnam and the northern African country, affirming that the friendship between the two countries will enter a new stage of development after the upcoming State visit by Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang to the nation.
Reefat Khaled, in his article published on August 23, highlighted the significance of the visit, saying that it will help deepen the traditional friendship between the two countries, which has been nurtured over the last 55 years.
The visit will create a foundation for effective and practical cooperation between Vietnam and Egypt in fields like politics, economy, culture and tourism, the article said, adding this will also offer a chance for both sides’ enterprises to meet and seek cooperation opportunities in trade, investment and tourism.
Regarding the prospect for bilateral cooperation in the coming time, the article quoted former Egyptian Ambassador to Vietnam Reda El Taify as saying that the two countries’ leaders will witness the signing of cooperation agreements across various fields.
Vietnamese enterprises can invest in infrastructure projects in Egypt, while Egyptian investors can seek business opportunities in Vietnam, the article noted.
