Elevating Vietnam-France strategic partnership to new height

Over the past 50 years, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and France has become increasingly robust and profound. In 2013, the two countries elevated their relationship to a strategic partnership, solidifying their status as reliable and committed partners. This upgrade has enhanced their collaboration across various sectors, resulting in more effective and practical cooperation.

Gemalink International Port, located in Phu My town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, is the sole deep-water port in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai area. The investment is primarily funded by Gemadept Corporation from Vietnam, which holds a 75% stake, while the CMA-CGM Group from France contributes 25%.
