English football coaches train kids in Vietnam

Two coaches from British football club Tottenham Hotspur FC, the runner up in the 2016-17 Premier League, have arrived to hold camps for 8 – 10-year-olds in HCM City.

HCM City (VNA) - Two coaches from British football clubTottenham Hotspur FC, the runner up in the 2016-17Premier League, have arrived to hold camps for 8 –10-year-olds in HCM City.

On March 18, Danny Mitchell and Anton Blackwood taught400 children six basic skills: foundation, passing, kicking, high-speedmovement with the ball, goal protection, and one on one andtwo on two tackling.

The 12 best kids were chosen for a seven-dayinternational football training course in Phuket, Thailand in June.

On March 25, 400 children in Hanoi will take part in a similar event.

AIA Group is sponsoring the event to promotephysical fitness and good health in the community.-VNA

Vietnamese puppetry seeks renewal amid preservation challenges

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors. All digitised cultural heritage will be standardised under the national data framework and shared in accordance with regulations, while 80% of public digital heritage assets are expected to receive digital identifiers to clarify ownership and management, encouraging organisations and individuals to do the same and support market development.
