The fifth European-Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival will take place in Hanoi from June 5-14 and Ho Chi Minh City from June 10-29.
According to Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) website, the event is organised by eight European countries namely Belgium, Germany, Sweden, France, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in coordination with the National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio of Vietnam.
This year’s festival will feature Belgian films and introduce those produced within the framework of the “ChopShots Southeast Asia Travelling Festival”, in addition to screening documentaries from Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and the Philippines.
Several film-makers, including Jasna Krajinovic (Belgium), Patrick Chauvel (France) and Heidi Specogna (Germany), will also be present in Hanoi to promote their works.-VNA
