Theevent, which is co-hosted by the Hanoi Ancient Quarter Management Boardand France’s Toulouse City, showcases a variety of exhibits, includingphotos, posters, maps and models collected by Toulouse experts since2010.

The items represent the establishment anddevelopment of the ancient trading quarters and its changes andlivelihood over time as well as restoration efforts.

PhamTuan Long from the Management Board said the exhibition helps give localresidents and tourists an insight into the Hanoi ancient quarter,contributing to the preservation and promotion of its value.-VNA

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors. All digitised cultural heritage will be standardised under the national data framework and shared in accordance with regulations, while 80% of public digital heritage assets are expected to receive digital identifiers to clarify ownership and management, encouraging organisations and individuals to do the same and support market development.
