Thai Nguyen (VNA) – More than 60 art works featuring the culture and life of ethnic minority groups in the northern province of Thai Nguyen are being displayed at an exhibition which opened in the locality on December 19.
The exhibits include many photos which have been selected for national, regional and international shows, including “Tre em vung cao” (Mountainous children), “Chi Em” (Sisters), and “Nang cao nguyen” (Plateau sunlight).
The exhibition also reflects the province’s achievements in economy, science and technology, social welfare, security and defence.
According to Ma Truong Nguyen, Chairman of the provincial association of ethnic minority literature and art, the exhibition is organised to mark the 88th founding day of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3), welcome the year 2018 and honour creativeness of local artists.
The event will run to December 25.-VNA
