An exhibition titled “History of Vietnam’s Revolution” with over 200 photos, documents and objects has recently opened in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang .
The event is being jointly held by the Vietnam Revolutionary Museum and the Ha Giang Museum.
The display features several periods in the country’s contemporary history from the struggle against the French colonialists at the end of the 19 th century and beginning of the 20 th century, the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on Feb. 3, 1930, the movement for national independence (1930-1945), the resistance wars against the French colonialists invasion (1946-1954) and the US imperialists, gaining liberation for the South and the national reunification (1955-1975) to the cause of national construction and renewal ( from 1975 until now).
