Nearly 120 photos showcasing Spain's landscapes and people are on display at the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) building in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Spain, Country and People photo exhibition was organised by the Viet Nam-Spain Friendship Association and the Embassy of Spain in Vietnam to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The photos, taken by photographers from Spain and VNA photojournalists, include landscapes, culture, sports, people's daily life.

Among the works are photos of the countries' leaders during several trips, including visits by King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sophia to Vietnam in 2006, and President Nguyen Minh Triet's trip to Spain in 2009.

Popular Spanish figures, like singer Julio Iglesias, tennis star Rafael Nadal and film star Penelope Cruz, are also pictured.

Spanish photographers' works of Vietnam's landscapes are also part of the exhibit. The exhibition, which will end on November 25.-VNA
