Exhibition lives up “Dien Bien Phu battle in the air”

More than 600 documents, including books, newspapers, paintings and photos on the “Dien Bien Phu battle in the air” victory collected from inside and outside the country are on display in Hanoi from December 26.
More than 600 documents, including books, newspapers, paintings and photos on the “Dien Bien Phu battle in the air” victory collected from inside and outside the country are on display in Hanoi from December 26.

The exhibition gives visitors a deep and comprehensive insight of the nation’s great victory 40 years ago.

Hanoi in 12 memorable days and nights during the B52 raids in December 1972 is also vividly depicted through the exhibition.

Showcasing at the exhibition are documentations on the history of the establishment and development as well as the glorious triumphs of the Vietnam Air Defence - Air Force.

The exhibition also introduces documentations relating to the Paris Accord signed on January 27, 1973 and the US ’s violation of the peace agreement and anti-war campaigns around the world.

The event will run until December 31.-VNA
