An exhibition on Vietnam opened in Mexico City on Sept. 12 to introduce Vietnam’s land and people to local people.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Hoai Duong voiced his expectation that the pictures taken by Vietnam News Agency journalists would give audience an insight into Vietnam in modern days.
Director of Mexico City Department of Culture Jose Alfonso Suarez del Real y Aguilera said through the pictures, Mexican people will now see Vietnam as a beautiful and peaceful country.
The exhibition is scheduled to last until September 30.-VNA
