Exhibition on wild animals protection opens in Hanoi

Sixteen paintings on illegally-hunted and trafficked species of animals including tigers, bears, elephants, turtles and rhinos are being on display at Hanoi’s Noi Bai international airport.
Sixteen paintings on illegally-hunted and trafficked species of animals including tigers, bears, elephants, turtles and rhinos are being on display at Hanoi’s Noi Bai international airport.

The exhibition entitled “Say no to products of wild animals on the verge of extinction” aims to convey a message that these species are protected by laws and wild animal products’ trafficking will be fined and prosecuted.

The exhibition, which is being held by the Wildlife Trade Monitoring Network (TRAFFIC) under the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in association with the General Departments of Customs and Environment, opened on May 11, 2010 and will last through May 2011./.
