An exhibition with the theme ‘Explore Singapore! Colours of Heritage’ opened in Hanoi on October 18.
The exhibition, jointly held by Vietnam’s Women’s Museum and Singapore’s Philatelic Museum, is just one of the activities that mark the 40 th anniversary of Vietnamese - Singaporean diplomatic ties.
On display are stamps, postcards and other exhibits that reflect the history and people of Singapore as well as displays of traditional crafts, the country’s cuisine and several multicultural festivals.
The exhibition introduces Singapore’s colourful culture and heritages to Vietnamese visitors, giving them an excellent opportunity to understand more about Singapore and its people.
According to Nguyen Thi Bich Van, the Director of Vietnam’s Women’s Museum, the event will enhance joint activities between Vietnam and Singapore in the fields of antiquities and culture.
It also represents a new step in the relationship between the two museums.
