Vietnam’s forestry sector enjoyed a trade surplus of 5.72 billion USD in the first 10 months of 2018, according to the Vietnam Administration of Forestry (VNForest) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The agro-fishery-forestry sector earned 32.6 billion USD from exports during the January-October period, up 8.1 percent year-on-year, according to the Agro Processing Market Development Authority (AgroTrade) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Vietnam’s forestry product export is expected to reach 9.3 billion USD this year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Vietnam Administration of Forestry (VAF).
