Vietnamese fencers continued their domination by winning two more gold medals on the second day of the Southeast Asian Fencing Championship in Ho Chi Minh City on November 13.
At the Phan Dinh Phung Gymnasium, Nguyen Thanh Van needed three bouts to beat her compatriot Ha Thi Sen 15-13 to win the women's individual epee event.
Eka Febriyanti of Indonesia and Melbye Ann Karin of Singapore shared third place.
The other gold was won by Nguyen Van Tien in the men's individual sabre event, where he beat compatriot Vu Thanh An 15-9 in two straight bouts.
Another Vietnamese, Nguyen Van Loi, shared third place with Haekerb Ruangkit of Thailand.
