Festival brings Japan closer to Vietnamese people

HCM City (VNA) – “Feel Japan in Vietnam 2016”, a two-day festival in Ho Chi Minh City, brought Japan - dubbed the land of the rising sun, closer to Vietnamese people.

The July 16-17 festival attracted a large crowd of youngsters to experience the unique culture of Japan, like Japanese traditional dances of Maiko (dancing child) and Geiko (arts child) and special performances of Ninja and Orian dancing groups from Edo Wonderland - a popular park in Tochigi prefecture.

The festival housed 50 booths featuring various products and services made in Japan as well as popularising different tours to Japan with preferential prices.

The event, the second of its kind, was jointly held by the Kilala Communication Company Limited and Song Han Tourist Company.-VNA
