Festival of light to mark New Year 2018 in HCM City

HCM City (VNA) – Hundreds of domestic and foreign artists will stagestellar performances at a light festival held on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Streeton December 31 to welcome the New Year 2018.

The “New Year’s Countdown LiGHTS 2018” festival has three parts: Present,Tradition and Future, the organising board announced at a press conference onDecember 21.

The vibrant festival will enlighten stories of the southern hub - a modern andcivilised city that still preserves traditional values through folk arts.

Brilliant art performances will be delivered by Thanh Bui, Phuong Vy, Ngo HongQuang, Kieu Anh, Apl De ap, Jessica Reynoso and The Lyricist.-VNA
