Truong Tien bridge in Hue city was lit up with fire installations by artists from French company Carabosse in the evening of April 18.
The show was considered as a highlight at the ongoing Hue Festival 2014.
Carabosse’s Director Jean-Marie Proust said fire was set on 3,000 circles and metal pots along the 115-year-old bridge the Huong (Perfume) River, along with four fire globes hung above the river plus a painting exhibition and a video display, giving spectators best visual and sound effects.
Spectators can enjoy the show once more in the evening of April 20.
The bridge and the river are typical icons of the ancient city, capital of the country in its last feudal dynasty, the Nguyen.
In the meantime, the Imperial Citadel was turned into a big stage for Latin American arts.
Brazilian band Sururu Na Roda stirred the atmosphere with melodies of samba and choro – traditional genres of their country.
