More than 660 businesses have been awarded for their impressive products following a three-month poll conducted by the Business Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods.
More than 660 businesses have been awarded for their impressive productsfollowing a three-month poll conducted by the Business Association ofHigh-Quality Vietnamese Goods.

The poll was based on theresults of a survey conducted among16,000 households and individuals in12 cities and provinces nationwide. At the same time, the associationalso delivered 3,000 questionnaires to retailers at markets,supermarkets and outlets.

This is the first time businessesoperating in fresh flowers and vegetables have participated in theevent. Among the winners, many work in farm produce and specialties oftraditional trade villages.

Van Minh Thang, head of thepoll’s organising board, said at a meeting with first winners on January6 that the firms in the list selected by consumers will not have to payany fee, asking them to send documents on their operation to theorganising board to be officially recognised.

He added thatthe board will also partner with departments and branches of localitieswhere the businesses headquarter to ensure the transparency ofinformation.

As many as 403 firms won the recognition lastyear, with most of them operating in sauces, non-alcoholic beverages,drugs, instant foods and plastic products.-VNA
