Over 80 musicians from ten ASEAN member countries will join the first-ever ASEAN symphony orchestra to perform at the forthcoming 17 th ASEAN Summit in Vietnam .
This was announced by Nguyen Van Tinh, the Head of the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, at a press conference in Hanoi on October 25.
The programme, which will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from October 26-29, will introduce the music talents of Vietnam and the region, including pianist Nguyen Tuan Manh from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatoire and violinist Anna Sowana from Thailand./.
