First int’l U19 football champs to be held in Nha Trang

The first international U19 football championship will take place in Nha Trang city, the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, from April 11-22.

Khanh Hoa (VNA) – The first international U19 football championshipwill take place in Nha Trang city, the south central coastal province of KhanhHoa, from April 11-22.

The Thanh Nien Media Corporation and the Vietnam FootballFederation revealed the information at a press conference in Nha Trang on April10.

Five teams from the Republic of Korea, Chinese Taipei, Myanmarand Vietnam are expected to participate in the event.

The champion will receive a gold medal and 10,000 USD. Meanwhile,the runner-ups will get silver and bronze medals and 6,000 USD and 4,000 USDrespectively.

The organising board will also select the best player, the bestgoal keeper, and the best scorer. Each will receive 500 USD.-VNA

Moscow to host Vietnam Culture Festival for first time

Festival-goers will be treated to performances of Vietnamese water puppetry, enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and take part in creative cooking workshops. Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam–Israel cultural ties
