A cultural extravaganza promoting the vibrant traditional customs of the Republic of Korea (RoK) will be featured at the first RoK-Vietnam Cultural Festival, taking place at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi on April 11.
The event is jointly held by the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam and the Korean Residents Association in Hanoi as part of activities to celebrate the 23 rd anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties, as heard at a press conference regarding the event on April 8.
Visitors to the event will be embedded in a cultural exchange programme including RoK traditional music, folk games, cuisine and fashion shows.
The highlight of the event is expected to be a concert featuring RoK music stars Park Sang Min, Kim Ho Jung, SWITCH and NOM and Vietnamese singer Tuan Hung.
Money raised through the event will be donated to Vietnamese charity organisations.-VNA
