Foreign sailor dies upon arrival in Hai An port

An Indonesian sailor died onboard the ship SM Tokyo which arrived at Hai An port in the northern city of Hai Phong on December 9 from Busan, the Republic of Korea.

Hai Phong (VNA) – An Indonesian sailor diedonboard the ship SM Tokyo which arrived at Hai An port in the northern city ofHai Phong on December 9 from Busan, the Republic of Korea.

The deceased was identified as Ibrahim, born in 1975.

According to other crewmembers, suffering from difficultiesin breathing just before the arrival, Ibrahim received first aid in his room.

They called the emergency number 115 and an ambulance waswaiting for him at the port, but the man died before further treatment couldreach him.-VNA
