– Foreigners inVietnam can make visa extension procedures at the Immigration Department underthe Ministry of Public Security in line with regulations, spokeswoman of theVietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang affirmed.

Hang made the statement at a regularpress conference held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hanoi on March 26 whilementioning visa extension procedures for foreigners in Vietnam amidst theCOVID-19 outbreak.

Vietnam frequently shares relevantinformation and stands ready to coordinate and create favourable conditions forforeign representative agencies in the country to conduct citizen protectionand address visa-related issues on the basis of ensuring requirements ondisease prevention and control in accordance with domestic and internationallaws, she said./.
