The Vietnam national futsal team finished fourth at the Asian qualifiers after losing 3-4 to Australia in Thailand on Feb. 26.
In the 35th minute of the second half, Australia took the lead with four goals. With nothing to lose, Vietnam increased its attack to score three goals thanks to Quynh Toan and Trong Thien.
After this tournament, the Vietnamese will compete in the Southeast Asian Futsal Championships from April 17-22 in Thailand against Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines and Myanmar in Group A.-VNA
