Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The global community has shown great interest in the Digital Thailand Big Bang 2017 exhibition recently held in Muangthong Thani, said Thai Digital Economy and Society Minister Pichet Durongkaveroj.
Pichet said the success of the exhibition has forged greater cooperation between relevant agencies to move the country towards the digital era.
Such cooperation has expanded to the digital development of human resources, banking, medicine, and artificial intelligence.
The Thai Ministry of the Digital Economy and Society plans to organise similar events in large cities such as Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Songkhla and Chonburi in November to create awareness of the digital economy.
The ministry is also moving ahead with its plan to build a big data platform collecting information related to each ministry and its policies. Pichet added both public and private sectors could benefit from the information available on such platform. -VNA
