Seven Vietnamese golfers have made it through to the next round of the Asian Final in Queensland , Australia , on August 24-26.
Tran Hong Quan won division A for those with a handicap of 0-12; Banh Duc Phong topped division B (12-20); Phan Ngoc Hieu, division C (21-28); Nguyen Thi Van Anh, division D – and three division runners-up qualified while competing at the Mercedes Trophy-Vietnam final at Sea Links Golf Club, in Phan Thiet City on July 9.
The qualifying round drew 96 players from 21 golf clubs nationwide.
Seven qualifed golfers of Vietnam team will continue in the Asian Final, of which the best golfer secure a berth at the World Final in Germany on September 2.
