The 2013 Ha Long Carnival will spotlight tourism potential of the northern province of Quang Ninh, the provincial People’s Committee announced at a press conference on April 9.
The event, the seventh of its kind in the province, will take place in Ha Long city on April 27 and include an opening ceremony, art performances and a street show.
The street show is expected to be participated by more than 5,000 local artists, models and dancers, and art troupes from China , Laos and the Republic of Korea together with the parade of six flower carriages featuring Quang Ninh’s tourism resources.
This year’s event will be broadcast live on VTV1, VTV4 and QTV channels.-VNA
