The northern province of Ha Nam always gives priority to Japanese businesses, particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises and those of support industry, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Tien Dung has said.
At a meeting with a delegation from the economic association of Japan ’s Hiroshima prefecture on November 20, Dung said the province is bettering its infrastructure to welcome businesses form Japan.
Association Chairman Nagano Masao said that his organisation has become interested in Ha Nam since its delegation’s recent visit to Hiroshima prefecture, adding that Hirosima businesses aim to seek opportunities to invest in the locality.
He expressed his hope that the two sides will further their ties in various fields apart from economics and investment.
The 40 visiting businesses operate in many areas from producing medical equipment, mechanics, and electric devices to providing tourism and communications services.
The Hiroshima Economic Association is one of the four organisations of its kind in Japan.-VNA
