

HCM City eyes driving smart urban development through digital data
Ho Chi Minh City is aiming for a digital economy contributing about 25% and 40% to its gross regional domestic product (GRDP) by 2025 and 2030, respectively.
The Institute for Management Development (IMD) in collaboration with the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organisation (WeGO) in April released rankings of the world’s leading smart cities for 2024. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City both found their way on to the list this year.
