Police in Tay Ho district, Hanoi are conducting an investigation after they were informed that several foreign women were attacked by a group of youngsters while they were strolling around the West Lake, Hanoi Police said on February 28.

Hanoi (VNA) - Police in Tay Ho district, Hanoi areconducting an investigation after they were informed that several foreign womenwere attacked by a group of youngsters while they were strolling around theWest Lake, Hanoi Police said on February 28.

Initially, 25 suspects were found to have close links to the case.

The police have summoned an individual suspected of carrying out violent assaultsagainst the foreign women.

Earlier, the women reported to the police in Quang An ward (Tay Ho district) thatthey were attacked by a group of youngsters who drove motorbikes. The young meneven threw stones, and used belts to hit them./.

Two wanted for abusing religious cover to undermine national unity policy

The fugitives are Di (also known as Siu Di), born in 1941, and Dinh Yum (also known as Dinh Jum or Ba Koih), born in 1963, from Ba Na ethnic minority group in Gia Lai province, and hold Vietnamese nationality. They have been charged under Clause 1, Article 116 of the Penal Code for undermining the national unity policy.
