Hanoi through French photo-journalist’s eyes

Photos on Hanoi ’s land and people taken by French photo-journalist Nicolas Cornet are on display at an exhibition that opened in the French Culture Centre L’Espace in Hanoi on Nov. 23.

The exhibition, a kick off for the French Week, depicts not only daily changes of the capital city that Nicolas Cornet has devoted 23 years to experience but also popular sites such as One-Pillar Pagoda, Ngoc Son Temple, Long Bien bridge and Opera House.

Apart from the photo collection, the French photographer has written a book on Hanoi since 2007 with the aim of marking the 1,000 th anniversary of the capital city. The book is on shelf at Vietbook-64 Trang Tien.

The exhibition will go on till November 27./.
