HCM City to host Men's Futures

HCM City will host the nation's largest tennis tourney, the Men's Futures, from April 8-22 with total prizes valued at 30,000 USD.
HCM City will host the nation's largest tennis tourney, the Men'sFutures, from April 8-22 with total prizes valued at 30,000 USD.

Also called the Tanimex Cup, the tournament is a professionalInternational Tennis Federation event which will be divided into threeconsecutive sub-tourneys. Men's Futures 1 (F1) will take place fromApril 2-8 in Tanimex Court . The F2 will run from April 9-15 inHoang Thien Court and the final F3 will be held from April 16-22 inPhu Tho Court.

More than 280 players from 52 countries and territories have registered to participate in the F1.

Vietnamese contenders will include Do Minh Quan, Nguyen Hoang Thien andLe Quoc Khanh, who have received wild cards to enter the F1's finalround.

Clement Reix of France, Isaac Frost of Australiaand India 's Rohan Gajjar have been ranked No 1, No 2 and No 3 seedsfor the tournament, respectively.

The event will provide young Vietnamese players the opportunity to hone their skills and accumulate experience.-VNA
