HCM City will host the nation's largest tennis tourney, the Men's Futures, from April 8-22 with total prizes valued at 30,000 USD.
Also called the Tanimex Cup, the tournament is a professional International Tennis Federation event which will be divided into three consecutive sub-tourneys. Men's Futures 1 (F1) will take place from April 2-8 in Tanimex Court . The F2 will run from April 9-15 in Hoang Thien Court and the final F3 will be held from April 16-22 in Phu Tho Court.
More than 280 players from 52 countries and territories have registered to participate in the F1.
Vietnamese contenders will include Do Minh Quan, Nguyen Hoang Thien and Le Quoc Khanh, who have received wild cards to enter the F1's final round.
Clement Reix of France, Isaac Frost of Australia and India 's Rohan Gajjar have been ranked No 1, No 2 and No 3 seeds for the tournament, respectively.
