Ho Chi Minh City, Vientiane enhance science, technology ties

The delegation is led by Deputy Secretary of Vientiane’s Party Committee Sihoun Sitthileuxay.

Thuong stated that the traditional friendship, special solidarity andcomprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, as well as betweenHo Chi Minh City and Vientiane, are developing in a sustainable,extensive and intensive manner.

He suggested the two cities strengthen connections in economics, science-technology, health and education.

Sihoun Sitthileuxay expressed his impression on Ho Chi Minh City’sdynamic development, saying that his delegation’s visit aims to boostthe two sides’ cooperation, particularly in science and technology.-VNA
