Illustrative image (Photo: https://www.hoaphat.com.vn/) Hanoi (VNA) - Steel maker Hoa Phat has reported that the export of steel pipe products produced by its subsidiary - Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd - in the first five months of 2020 surged by 78 percent year-on-year despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, key products of the firm imported by foreign partners in the period were black steel pipes, hot-dip galvanized steel pipes, and galvanised steel pipes.
Along with boosting exports, Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. has also introduced new products and diversified types of steel pipes to serve the demand of customers.
Thanks its efforts, Hoa Phat has still maintained export revenue despite the COVID-19 outbreak, which negatively affected import activities in many countries worldwide.
High quality products of the firm have been sold in the US, Canada, Australia, Mexico and other Southeast Asian countries.
In 2019, Hoa Phat’s steel export volume increased by 17 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 19,100 tonnes./.
