The International Labor Organisation (ILO) adopted a resolution to remove all remaining sanctions on Myanmar at its 102 nd General Conference in Geneva, Switzerland on June 18.
Myanmar 's Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security said that the remaining sanctions are lifted after Myanmar had carried out pragmatic measures, including legislation for elimination of forced labour in the country.
According to an official press release published here on June 19, the lifting will help the country boost international trading, increase foreign investment and create more job opportunities for its citizens.
