India, Singapore enhance strategic partnership

New Delhi (VNA) – Indian Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Shri V. Muraleedharan had a virtual meeting with Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sim Ann on June 17, during which they discussed measures to boost bilateral strategic partnership.

Muraleedharan thanked the Singaporean Government for facilitating supply of relief materials, especially oxygen tanks, which were sent to India for fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both officials reviewed India-Singapore bilateral relationship, spanning across a wide range of areas.

They also discussed cooperation on regional issues and at multilateral forums. They expressed a commitment to further strengthening the India-Singapore Strategic Partnership.

Singapore and more than 80 other countries have presented and provided medical supplies to help India fight the pandemic./.
