Indian art troupe to perform in Vietnam

The NACS art troupe from Indian northern region of Leh LaDakh will make its first-ever performance tour to the central province of Phu Yen on April 11-12.

The troupe will entertain the local audience with specialperformances, such as folk songs, dances and dramas staged by well-knownIndian artist Tsering Sonam Sopari, Le Kim Anh, Deputy Chairman of theprovincial People’s Committee, said on April 7.

Before coming to Phu Yen province, the art troupe will perform in the southern largest hub of Ho Chi Minh City on April 9.

The Indian Consulate in HCM City and the provincial People’s Committeeare planning to organise a Week of Indian Films in Tuy Hoa city in thecoming time, as part of activities to strengthen cultural exchangesbetween the two nations./.

Vietnamese sports delegation leaves for ASIAD 20 in Japan

The Vietnamese delegation comprises 496 members, including athletes, coaches, experts, officials, doctors and medical staff. The teams will depart in several groups depending on their competition schedules, with the largest group expected to leave on September 16. The squad has set a target of winning at least four gold medals at ASIAD 20.
