Indonesia is identifying victims of a C-130B Hercules plane crash in Medan, northern Sumatra province that killed at least 141 people on June 30.
Head of the Disaster Victim Identification from North Sumatra police Setio Purwanto said bodies of the victims are taken to hospitals and handed over to their relatives.
North Sumatra chief police Gen Sutedjo Eko Hadi said as of July 1 afternoon, among the 141 bodies found at the site, 135 have been brought to Adam Malik and Pirnagdi hospitals in Meda and 34 have been identified.
Indonesia deployed 350 police and substantial equipment to address with the post-accident consequences.
Halim Perdana Kusuma air force base sent an air-freighter and two other planes to Medan for search and rescue.
