Indonesia and India, two largest economies in Southeast Asia and South Asia will further boost strategic partnership in the coming time.
The agreement was reached at the talks between Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Jakarta on October 11.
They also exchanged views on bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual concern.
On the occasion, the two witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the promotion of trade and investment between the two nations.
Since both countries signed the strategic partnership agreement in 2005, their two-way trade jumped five times to 20 billion USD in 2012. The figure is expected to hit 25 billion USD by 2015.-VNA
