Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesian PresidentJoko Widodo on January 13 officially launched Injourney Holding, a state-owned holding for tourism andsupporting sectors.

In his televised speech,Widodo said the key is to make governance more efficient and simpler, and consolidateSOEs in tourism sector and its supporting sectors, including those in charge offlights, airport services, hotels, attractions, management of touristdestinations, retail, and so on.

He added that with 330 million domestic tourists eachyear, Indonesia’s tourism potential remains huge.
