Hanoi (VNA) – Indonesia and Malaysia continued to bag victories at the ongoing 2020 AFF Suzuki Cup.
In a six-goal thriller against Cambodia, Indonesia showed their attack power and had a 3-0 lead at the 33rd minute of the first half.
Conceding three, Cambodia pressed on for a goal and Yue Safi headed the ball in to score in the 37th minute.
Two second-half substitutes, Indonesia’s Ramai Rumakiek and Cambodia’s Prak Mony Udom, grabbed further goals to settle a 4-2 win for Indonesia.
In an earlier match, Malaysia defeated Laos 4-0 with a hat-trick by Safawi Rasid and a goal by Shahrul Saad, temporarily topping Group B in the group stage.
Reigning champions Vietnam will face Malaysia on December 12./.
