Indonesia will hold the third Asian Para Games in 2018, the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) announced on its website.
APC Secretary General Malini Rajasegaran said the Indonesian Government agreed to host the 2018 games in an official letter of acceptance dated October 17, 2014.
The APC extends its highest gratitude to the Indonesian Government for its dedication to empowering and enhancing the para-sports movement in the region, he said, expressing his hope for the successful organisation of the games.
The Asian Para Games 2018 will take place in the capital city of Jakarta.
Previously, Indonesia agreed to host the 2018 Asian Games, taking over from Vietnam who withdrew as host in April this year. The games will be held in Jakarta, Palembang and Bandung.
