Minister of Industry Saleh Husin on February 13 said garment-textile is the seed to boost the export of non-oil products.
Since 2007, the country has carried out a programme to equip new technology for the sector, increase its productivity of 4-10 percent, and generate jobs for nearly 242,000 workers.
Between 2007 and 2014, the Indonesian Government poured about 1.4 trillion Rupiah (110 million USD) to increase the industry’s competitive edge.
